Olwyn Payton and daughter Cindy at Buckingham Palace

A Nantwich charity champion enjoyed a Royal day to remember at the Queen’s Garden Party in Buckingham Palace.

Olwyn Payton was nominated in recognition of her charity and community work in Crewe and Nantwich.

Olwyn, who works at Nantwich Sainsbury’s on Middlewich Road, took her daughter Cindy along to meet the Royals. She said it was “the best day my life”.

“The members of the Royal family are unbelievably friendly and chatty.

“The Queen looked fabulous and much younger than her age. The added bonus was the presence of a very beautiful Kate, Duchess of Cambridge.

“I had the photo taken with the Sainsbury’s carrier bag outside Buckingham Palace to recognise and thank Sainsbury’s for all the support for charity and community that they give me.

“Some guests were highly amused when we took out the bag until we explained why we were taking the photo!”

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
