Nantwich Litter Group volunteers armed themselves with bags and gloves for a “litter pick” around Barony Park.
The event achieved significant results with several bags filled with rubbish.
Further group action will be organised on an ad hoc basis to deal with specific problems, said volunteer Mary Dodd.
The next litter pick activity day is scheduled for Wednesday May 9, between 10am and 12pm.
