Easter Eggs are pouring in to the Cat Radio and Richmond Village Nantwich as part of their annual appeal.

The scheme, which also involves Nantwich Sainsbury’s on Middlewich Road, has seen more than 100 eggs being handed in.

But organisers are hoping this tally will increase in the next week.

Last year the eggs were donated to under privileged children in the local area.

Businesses are now hoping to include children at the Wingate Centre in Wrenbury, who will be visiting the centre over the Easter period.

Lynne Griffin, Richmond Village manager, said: “The appeal was such a success last year, we decided we would like to make it an annual event.

“Every donated egg will be given to a child who may not otherwise receive one and we would ask anyone who can to pop in toRichmond Village Nantwich, St Joseph’s Way or the Cat Radio at Frederick House to donate an Easter Egg.”

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
