Regents Park in Nantwich will be welcoming residents to find out more about the history of the site.

The event, called “Rediscovering Regents”, will take place in the chapel of the former bible college off London Road on Friday March 23 from 7.15pm to 9.30pm.

Willaston History Society’s David Sparling will be on hand giving talks on the early history of Regents Park, with photos and interesting stories revealing the past.

Hosts for the free event are site owners Nantwich Elim Church.

Donations towards the event and improvement works to the site are welcome. Refreshments and cakes will be served.

There will also be information available about the development of The Olive Grove Conference Centre & Retreat at Regents Park.

Organisers are keen to hear from anyone who information, stories or even old photographs about the site.

Claire Edwards, one of the site managers, said: “If they just want to pop in to reception and speak to someone we would be delighted to hear from them.”

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
