Two against Rushall - Sean Cooke, Nantwich Town (pic by Simon J Newbury) sent off at Buxton

Nantwich Town beat league opposition in Macclesfield to make it through to the Cheshire Cup Final.

The Dabbers ran out easy 3-0 victors over their League Two opponents to secure a stunning away victory at Moss Rose.

Now Jimmy Quinn’s side, which made it to the FA Cup first round proper this season, have another chance of cup glory.

Nantwich will face Stalybridge Celtic, who play in the league above in the Blue Square Bet North, in the final.

Fans’ favourite Michael Lennon broke the deadlock in the second half after Nantwich were unlucky not to be leading at the break.

Lennon then added a second before Sean Cooke (pictured) wrapped up an emphatic and thoroughly deserved victory late on in front of fewer than 200 supporters.

The date and venue of the final are to be decided.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
