Nantwich firm Applewood Independent have donated 12 laptops to a Nantwich Primary School.

The donation has ensured those pupils without access to devices have been able to work from home during the current national lockdown.

Applewood Independent teamed up with IT company Myson Pages, who were able to source a total of 12 laptops.

All the devices were reconfigured before they were donated.

After sourcing the laptops, the team at Applewood Independent were put in contact with Nic Bunting of The Nantwich Computer Consultancy to work together before handing over the laptops.

A spokesperson for the company said: “Applewood Independent wanted to offer their support to local schools during this challenging time, with young children being unable to attend school at present due to the national lockdown.

“We are pleased we could offer support and hope that the children who received the devices are now able to complete their schoolwork and Zoom calls effectively.”

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
