Friends of ctchealthcare, including businesses and medical professionals, turned out in force to mark the South Cheshire company’s milestone 25th anniversary.
They celebrated at Residence in Nantwich and joined physiotherapists in raising a glass to those who have contributed to its growth from a one-man clinic.
Established in 1994, ctchealthcare has developed into a multi-site operation providing physiotherapy and wellbeing services.
A team of 15 chartered and Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered physiotherapists practice out of clinics located in Crewe, Nantwich, Congleton, Stoke and Stafford.
Founder Rick Carter has combined a high profile football physio role with building a successful business, keeping players in top condition at clubs such as Manchester United, Chelsea and West Bromwich Albion.
Whilst maintaining close links with the sporting world, Rick has grown ctchealthcare to provide health and wellbeing services to private clients and businesses across the North West.
The company is recognised as a professional training centre for First Aid and its Nantwich clinic is a fitness hub for Pilates as well as the latest exercise trends such as Vinyasa ‘power-yoga’ and one-to-one Reformer training.
Launched only this month, anti-aging facial acupuncture is catching on with local patients looking to boost collagen and skin radiance.
Rick said: “Our company strapline remains ‘making you feel better’ and over the years we have helped hundreds of patients on the road to good health but we don’t stand still.
“Our innovative approach includes new services such as facial cosmetic acupuncture, dynamic ultrasound to support accurate diagnosis and our amazing new yoga teacher Charlie Follow is already an Instagram sensation.”
Over the years ctchealthcare has championed mental and physical wellbeing and worked with many companies on injury prevention, screening and resilience programmes to reduce sickness absence.
He added: “This was a new approach back in 1994 and I was delighted to see old colleagues and mentors at the anniversary celebration who believed in this philosophy and supported me on the journey.
“It’s been a long journey but we are proud to be regarded as a leader in the field of injury prevention in business, sport and the local community.
“I’m very lucky to have my wife Emily and children to support me, as well as a fantastic senior team and staff.”
Business guests included Alpha Omega Securities managing director Ken Lawton, County Group CEO Dave Clapp, South Cheshire Chamber CEO Paul Colman and Nantwich-based PR consultant Jan Roberts.
Also welcomed were retired Nantwich GP Humphrey Knapman, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon Dai Rees and Rob Williams who helps mentor the company’s leadership team.
