A baby was taken to hospital “as a precaution” after a two-vehicle crash in Willaston near Nantwich.

The accident happened on Cheerbrook Road yesterday (September 7) at around 9am.

Police, paramedics and fire crews attended and found the incident involved a white Volvo V40 and a white Volkswagen Van.

Two adults, including the driver of the van, and a baby were taken to hospital “as a precaution”, say police.

Two fire engines attended, one from Audlem and one from Nantwich, and officers made the road safe and handed the casualties into the care of the paramedics.

A Cheshire Fire spokesperson said: “The driver of the van and another individual were handed into the care of paramedics. Crews made the scene safe.”

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
