BeWILDerwood lantern parade

The new BeWILDerwood outdoor centre near Nantwich is to stage a “Glorious Glowing Lantern Parade” during October half term.

Visitors can adventure through a light extravaganza from the 23rd to 31st October.

And they can watch the story of BeWILDerwood unfold as they journey through the woods down mysterious paths exclusive to the event.

Tom Blofeld – Le Grand Fromage, aka author and creator of the magical book series BeWILDerwood is based on, said: “This amazing event is based on BeWILDerwood Norfolk’s famous Lantern Parade, which is so popular with locals in Norfolk.

“So, we’re sure everyone will love the Cheshire event just as much!

“It really is set to be a magical event for all the family to enjoy this October.

“But we do recommend booking your tickets early as it historically sells out very fast!”

As dusk falls visitors will craft their own Boggle Bindle Lantern to help the Boggles light up the woods, before embarking on a journey through BeWILDerwood.

They will navigate their way through the lit twilight woodland and keep a look out for hints of the BeWILDerwood characters peering out to say ‘yoo-hoo!’ along the way.

Food will be available at the onsite Munch bar, including warming snacks and hot drinks.

Visitors are advised to come dressed in their very best spooktacular costumes too.

The theme park is based off the A49 at Bickley Moss, close to Cholmondeley.

Tickets went on sale this week online, and are £10 per person (under 92cm, wheelchair users and carers are free!)

The Parade has scheduled time slots and is a separate ticketed event.

Timeslots will start from 6pm and tickets need to be booked online in advance.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
