backlog - Council Tax hike - chief executive appointed

Dear Editor,

Questions were raised at last week’s Audit and Governance meeting about how inclusive the 3 day’s Health and Welfare leave granted to Cheshire East’s staff, in acknowledgment of the pressure of work they have coped with during the Covid period, has been.

It was hoped that all staff on its payroll have been able to take advantage of this goodwill gesture in recognition of the sterling service they have given to our local communities during these difficult and stressful times.

Cheshire East’s staff are its biggest asset and each and every one of them deserves to be equally appreciated and acknowledged.

Yours,

Mike Sewart
Cheshire East Councillor
Poynton West and Adlington

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

  1. It’s tiring to raise taxes and waste money so I guess they deserve more rest too!
