A Community Champion in Nantwich has been named as the latest “Local Legend” by The Cat FM.
Nikki Allen, Community Champion at Morrisons supermarket, received a “Baked by Gill Cat Cake” and certificate from The Cat managing director Chris Cadman and presenter David Foulkes.
Nikki been working tirelessly to help many local organisations including the Food Bank and other charities who have been struggling this year.
Chris Cadman said: “It’s a real pleasure to recognise Nikki as our Local Legend for this month in recognition of the wonderful work she does, and support she offers, to numerous groups in the community.”
It’s the second Local Legend monthly award presented by The Cat, which follows on from the weekly Community Hero Award earlier in the pandemic.
They aim to recognise the work of local individuals and organisations who have gone that extra mile in support of their communities.
