Police officers searching for a missing man have found a body in a wooded area in Crewe.
The body has been formally identified as Jordan Lawton.
A spokeswoman said: “His family are aware and we request their privacy be respected at this difficult time.”
The 24-year-old from Crewe was last seen at 11am on Monday 21 December but had been seen since.
Police had searched a number of areas including Barthomley and Radway Green as well as Haslington and Alsager.
