The death of a man found in a Nantwich house is not being treated as suspicious, say police.

Officers found the man, in his 50s, at a property on London Road in Nantwich.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene at around 12.30pm on Tuesday (December 8). His identity has not been released.

The incident has been reported to the coroner.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: “Officers were called just after 12.30pm on December 8 following reports of a sudden death on London Road.

“A man in his 50s was pronounced dead at the scene. His death is not believed to be suspicious.

“His next of kin have been informed. A file will be prepared for the coroner.”
