A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault in connection with a stabbing incident in Crewe.
Police say the teenager was arrested yesterday (November 25) and remains in custody.
It follows an alleged knife attack which left a man in Davenport Avenue area of Crewe with a stabbing injury.
They say a man in his 40s was found with a knife injury at around 10.40pm on Friday (November 20).
Det Insp Claire Jesson said: “If you have any information I would urge you to come forward.
“You can report information to Crimestoppers anonymously if you don’t feel you can speak to us.
“We are currently in the area making a number of enquiries and have stepped up patrols to provide reassurance.
“If you have any concerns please don’t hesitate to speak to one your local officers out on patrol in your area.”
