page - Aga killed on her bike in Crewe

A fundraising page has been set up in memory of a Crewe woman killed while out cycling earlier this week.

More than £3,000 has already been raised for the family of Agnieszka Pocz (pictured) 41.

Mum-of-three Agnieszka was on her bike on Hungerford Road in Crewe when she was in collision with a silver car. She was taken to Leighton Hospital but later died of her injuries.

Local resident Jo Puttnam set up the Gofundme page to help her devastated partner and three young children.

Jo said: “Agnieszka’s life was tragically cut short when she was knocked off her bike whilst working as a carer in Crewe.

“Aga was taken to hospital but unfortunately passed away.

“She leaves behind her partner and their three beautiful children. Hanna (14) Bartosz (12) and little Lizzy who is only 6 years old.

“Aga was a beautiful, caring and compassionate person who loved her job and her family.

“The loss of her life has left a huge hole in the community and will effect many people.

“I would like to raise her family some money to help with their financial needs at this awful time.”

More than 200 people have already made a donation, smashing the original £1,000 target.

You can donate by visiting the Gofundme page here.

Cheshire Police arrested a 20-year-old man from Stoke-on-Trent and an 18-year-old woman from Trent Vale in connection with the incident on Monday morning (September 14).

Anyone with information on the incident or footage that may be relevant to the investigation is asked to call Cheshire Constabulary on 101, quoting IML 804595, or give the details via https://www.cheshire.police.uk/ro/report

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
