bar - Ebenezer's Craft Beer & Gin - facemask (2) (1)

A big-hearted bar owner in Nantwich is selling branded face masks and dog bandanas to raise money for Nantwich foodbank, writes Jonathan White.

Nicholas Warren, one of the managers of Ebenezer’s Craft Beer & Gin, has launched a series of products, made locally by resident Jackie Ralphs.

Facemasks are available in small, medium and large sizes, with medium size £5, large size £6. Small masks are available to order. Dog bandanas are £4.50.

Face masks and dog bandanas can be pre-ordered at the bar.

Mr Warren said: “At Ebenezer’s we understand our community has been hit hard over the last few months. We wanted to do something to give back whatever we could.

“We are selling our own branded face masks to raise money for Nantwich foodbank.

Ebenezer’s Craft Beer & Gin opened in December 2017.

It is named after the building on Castle Street in Nantwich where it is located, which was originally built in 1857 as Ebenezer’s Methodist Chapel.

It occupies what was previously the attic bar in The Studio/Gregory’s and uses the nightclub’s old entrance with the famous red steps.

Wearing a face covering lowers the risk of spreading Covid-19 to others through speaking and coughing.

Ebenezer’s Craft Beer & Gin is open Friday to Saturday 12.30pm-10.30pm, Sunday 12.30pm – 10pm.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
