Hankey - altercation nantwich - County Lines charged and in court

A man has been charged with attempted murder in connection with an incident which left another man with serious injuries in Nantwich.

Stephen Symes, 42, of Tailors View, Arnold Street was arrested shortly before 5am on Wednesday July 29.

He has subsequently been charged with attempted murder.

The charge relates to an incident at an address on Tailors View, Arnold Street on Sunday July 27.

A 39-year-old man sustained serious injuries to his head and was taken to hospital.

He remains in hospital in a critical but stable condition.

Symes has been remanded and is due to appear at Crewe Magistrates Court today (Thursday July 30).

A 50-year-old man arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender has been released on conditional bail.
