Two Nantwich businesses have worked together to make COVID-19 testing available to employers and cancer patients.
Rare Earth Digital has designed a custom-built portal which sits behind Everything Genetic Limited’s vital COVID-19 testing services.
Everything Genetic launched two coronavirus test kits – COVIDtestUK Antibody Instant Testing and COVIDtestUK PCR Laboratory Testing.
The PCR test is vital for the clinical management of cancer patients during the coronavirus pandemic.
With test results provided in three days, it is CE marked, Public Health England approved and has a 98% sensitivity, 100% specificity and 98.8% accuracy.
The CE marked antibody test results mean employers can make informed decisions whether or not it is safe for staff to return to work.
The single-use test kit detects early and late markers from a quick finger-prick blood sample administered on-site by a healthcare professional.
Results are provided in less than 10 minutes.
The portal has been developed to provide test tracking and real-time reporting to ensure patients and clinicians access results securely and quickly online.
