Fire crews were called to tackle a fire during what they called a “dangerous controlled burning” incident in Nantwich.
They attended a property on St Mary’s Road in Nantwich at around 7.30pm last night (May 14).
Nantwich firefighters discovered that reported large amounts of smoke stemmed from the controlled burning of wood outside a domestic property.
A spokesperson said: “Firefighters extinguished the fire using a hose reel jet as they deemed it to be dangerous.
“They were in attendance for nearly half-an-hour.”
