The majority of people are staying indoors and following Government guidance despite warm Easter weather in South Cheshire, writes Jonathan White.

Good Friday and Easter Saturday yesterday saw the warmest weather of the year so far.

People who did venture from home adhered to social distancing measures to help stop the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) and save lives.

Popular outdoor areas around Nantwich and Crewe would normally be packed with those exercising and relaxing, including Joey the Swan recreation area in Wistaston, King George V playing fields in Crewe, and Barony Fields and Nantwich Lake in Nantwich, along with the Crewe to Nantwich Greenway between the two towns.

But these locations were largely quiet with just a few people exercising and maintaining their distance.

Many people are also choosing to shop weekly, fortnightly, or book a click & collect or delivery slot.

To help reduce the risk of you and anyone you live with getting ill with coronavirus:
-wash your hands with soap and water often – do this for at least 20 seconds-use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available-wash your hands as soon as you get home
-cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze
-put used tissues in the bin immediately and wash your hands afterwards.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
