Reaseheath College has been forced to cancel tomorrow’s lambing event due to forecast stormy weather.
A weather warning has been issued by the Met Office for Saturday February 29 as Storm Jorge hits the Uk.
A Reaseheath spokesperson said: “The safety of our visitors, students and staff is paramount and we feel this is our only option due to the forecasted high winds
“We plan to open as normal on Sunday 1st March and the following weekend Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th March (10am – 4pm) but this again will be weather dependent so please check first at www.reaseheath.ac.uk/lambing
“Our lambs will be tucked away in their new lambing sheds and we would still love you to come and visit them, so if you have purchased an online ticket for tomorrow’s event you will be able to use this on any of the alternative days.”
