fly-tippers nantwich

Police are hunting fly-tippers who dumped this massive pile of rubbish by the side of the A51 Nantwich bypass.

It’s the latest in a number of incidents as people attempt to avoid waste removal and waste recycling centres.

Nantwich Police posted these images and say they and Cheshire East Council will investigate in a bid to track down the culprits.

“Yet another disgusting mess left by fly tippers,” said police.

“This time on the A51 Nantwich bypass causing access and footpath obstruction.

“Have you or your neighbours had windows replaced? If so do you recognise these?

“Clearly the waste removal fee was overlooked! @CheshireEast informed.”

Fly tipping is the “illegal deposit of any waste on to land that has no licence to accept waste.”

It is an offence under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 to fly tip any material. Conviction can lead to a heavy fine.

Fly tipped waste includes general household waste, larger domestic items for example fridges, mattresses, or garden refuse commercial waste for example builders rubble, clinical waste and tyres.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

  1. I am sure someone will recognise that distinctive purple lead window pattern, postal workers, delivery folk neighbours etc.
Time to fit a movable post bollard to all these little land sections.
