A Nantwich Town XI beat Crewe & District Football League side Winsford Saxons 6-0 in the Second Round of the Crewe & District FA Challenge Cup, writes Jonathan White.

The fixture at the Weaver Stadium was postponed from its original mid-December 2019 date due to a waterlogged pitch.

The Nantwich Town team was a mixture of youth and non-contracted senior players.

Callum Saunders netted a hat-trick for the Dabbers with other goals from Aaron Lomas, Callum Parker and a Winsford Saxons own goal.

The Dabbers next match is this Saturday January 18, 3pm kick-off at home to Hyde United in the BetVictor Northern Premier Division.
