Nantwich Town have signed Ethon Varian from Stoke City on a month’s work experience loan.
The Irish forward has appeared for the Staffordshire outfit in the U18 Premier League this season and has been on the scoresheet for the Potters’ youth side.
In addition to the U18s, Varian has turned out for the U23 side this season in the Premier League 2.
Varian is expected to be involved in the squad for this weekend’s Northern Premier Division clash with Scarborough Athletic.
A Nantwich Town spokesman said: “We would like to welcome Ethon to the club and wish him the very best of luck for his loan spell at the Weaver Stadium.
“The club would also like to thank Michael O’Neill and Stoke City for their co-operation in this loan signing.”
