The RSPCA wildlife centre and cattery in Nantwich is rounding off 2019 with a 25th Anniversary Christmas fair.
Stapeley Grange is holding the festive event on Sunday December 1 at the centre on London Road.
The fun starts at 11am until 3pm at the centre and costs just £1 donation to get in (50p children) and has a range of fun activities to entertain kids and adults alike.
Children can get creative with a Christmas crafts workshop and even meet Santa Claus himself, who is already fattening up for the festive season.
There will also be games to play, homemade refreshments, cakes and lots of mince pies, plus lots of Christmas stalls to do some present shopping.
Limited edition RSPCA Stapeley Grange tote bags will also be on sale, funded by Plastic Free Nantwich.
All money raised from the bags will go to helping the animals.
Centre manager Lee Stewart said: “We are all really excited to be getting into the festive spirit with our Christmas fair, which is a popular event with supporters every year. Santa has confirmed his attendance which is exciting for everyone and there will be lots for families to get involved in.
“The cattery will also be open on the day if people are interested in adopting one or more of our cats.
“We also have lots of cats in need of a loving new home, like Tabitha and Trevor who were sadly abandoned in a property in Malpas and will soon be looking for their loving forever homes.
“Hopefully this will happen before Christmas.
“And because everybody loves Christmas music at this time of year, we’ve invited Cat Radio to come along and play festive tunes.
“We’ve had a great year of celebrating our 25th anniversary and this event is our way of saying thank you to everyone for their support throughout the year.”
Visitors to the fair can park in the Stapeley House/Stapeley Technology Park (which supports our fundraising events every year) car park next door to Stapeley Grange and then walk across the adjoining field to the event.
Stapeley Grange Wildlife Hospital and Cattery, which opened its doors in October 1994, is always looking to generate more funds to feed all the animals it receives.
It is one of the busiest, if not the busiest, in the whole country, dealing with more than 6,500 sick, injured and orphaned animals every year.
