Parade Marshall Jack Gilbert will lead the procession from Nantwich Civic Hall at 10.35am, which work its way through the town via Beam Street, finishing on the Town Square for a Remembrance Service and a two-minute silence at 11am.

Wreath laying at the Cenotaph will be headed by the Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Cheshire and will be followed by The British Legion, Armed Forces, and emergency services.

Organisers are expecting a large crowd in excess of last year’s 2,500 people.

In nearby Wistaston, a Service of Remembrance will take place this Sunday at 3pm at the Wistaston Memorial Hall, Church Lane, Wistaston.

Wistaston Memorial Hall was built 70 years ago this year in memory of the men from Wistaston who lost their lives in the Second World War.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
