Nantwich Museum’s Autumn Quiz Night in aid of museum funds will take place from 7.30pm this Sunday October 27 at Crewe Vagrants Sports Club in Willaston.
Overseen as usual by museum volunteer and popular quiz master Wyn Jones, the evening promises fun, a raffle and exciting prizes.
Entry is by ticket only which, cost £5 per person including light refreshments and are available from the museum.
Teams of four are ideal but not essential and could be made up on the night.
The museum is an independent charitable trust run by its Members and a small staff. It is financed by donations, sponsorship, fund raising activities, commercial activities such as the shop and various grants.
Meanwhile, Autumn and Halloween are the themes for the half term workshops for children at Nantwich Museum on October 30 and 31.
All workshops are drop in any time between 11am and 3pm.
The cost is £2 per child who must be accompanied. Large groups are requested to book in advance.
