Nantwich Town have a great chance to move one step closer to the FA Cup First Round proper after being a hand home tie in the third qualifying round.

The Dabbers will host fellow Northern Premier League side Morpeth Town on the weekend of Saturday October 5.

It’s reward for Dave Cooke’s men producing a superb display to knock out higher league opponents Telford 3-0 on Saturday.

But Morpeth will be no push overs, as they sit in 12th place in the league just three points behind Nantwich.

And the Northumberland-based club have played two fewer games than Nantwich.

Winning clubs will collect £11,250 from the FA prize fund, while the losing clubs will walk away with £3,750.

A Nantwich win would leave them just one game away from the First Round proper, when League One clubs the size of Sunderland, Coventry and Ipswich Town, all former FA Cup winners, join the draw.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
