Nantwich Town produced a superb display to beat their higher league opponents Telford away in the second qualifying round of the FA Cup.

The Dabbers won 3-0, and more than deserved their win as they continue their Road to Wembley adventure.

Keeper Greg Hall was one of the stars of the show, producing a commanding performance at the back as Nantwich’s defence stood strong throughout.

After an even start, the visitors took the lead on 17 minutes through a fine strike by in-form forward Joe Malkin from outside the box.

Malkin took down the ball on his chest on the left hand side and hit a looping shot over Wycherley.

Webb went close moments later from a free-kick for Nantwich, and 60 seconds later the Dabbers were 2-0 ahead.

Good work from Walsh saw the ball break to Joe Davis, and his shot took a slight deflection and snuck inside the far post.

Reilly headed against the post on 29 minutes as the hosts finally grew into the game.

Then on 36 minutes a fine strike from a free kick from Daniels crashed against the Nantwich cross bar.

After the break, the hosts continued to push forward for a way back into the game.

Telford fire crosses into the box by Hall and his defenders stood strong to clear their lines time and again.

Ellis Deeney, brother of Watford striker Troy, went close for Telford when his shot flew narrowly wide of Hall’s far post.

Then on 77 minutes, Nantwich put the game to bed with a stunning strike into the top corner by skipper Caspar Hughes.

Several frustrated Telford players were booked in the final 10 minutes as Nantwich comfortably saw out the remaining time to claim a famous road trip victory.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
