Faddiley and high-flying George and Dragon met again in the Crewe Regional Sunday League Premier Division, just two weeks after George and Dragon registered a 9-3 win.

The re-arranged fixture was much closer this time with the visitors winning 2-4.

Faddiley took the lead through Danny Price but Dragon were ahead at half time thanks to a brace from Robbie Hatton, including one from the penalty spot.

Matty Waller scored for the visitors before Derice Richards made it 2-3 whilst the visitors had two players sin binned for dissent.

A final goal from Scott Taylor completed the scoring.

Salvador had another difficult morning going down 1-8 to a Crewe Athletic side who have a 100% record so far.

Shannon Sinnott, Jordan Amson and Luke Gillan all netted twice, with further goals from Josh Dunne and PJ Hudson.

White Lion Ford Lane got their first win of the season in convincing style, winning 1-6 at Elworth Park Rangers.

Keiron Duckers netted for the home team, whilst Russell Schofield (3), Danny May, Ben Durkin and Danny Roberts were on target for the visitors.

Betley had to switch their home game to the King George Vth Playing Fields and had to settle for a 1-1 draw with NHB after an entertaining game, Lee Smith scored for Betley with Will Ellwood scoring for NHB.

In Division One, Bridge Inn and The Old Star both came into the match with three wins out of three, but it was the Winsford team who ended victorious with a 2-3 win.

Owen Porter put the home team ahead, but a nasty injury to Craig Harris of Bridge Inn right on half time disrupted the game.

A Josh Wynne goal put the home side 2-1 up at one stage, but goals from Joe Pointon, Joe Evans and Sam Dodd sealed the win for the visitors.

Sandbach Town continued their solid start to the season with a 6-2 win over Princes Feathers, who are still looking for their first point of the season.

Tony Fidzewicz got two, with Jamie Street, Alex Davies, Joseph MacDonald and Jamie Knowlson each scoring once. Adam Pickering and Josh Oakes scored for Princes Feathers.

Sydney Arms are another team who are going well, and they beat Broadhurst FC 4-1.

Regular marksman Ben Reddock netted twice, with further goals from Peter Zlatev and Aaron Davies. Justin Hatton got the Broadhurst FC consolation goal.

League newcomers Crewe and Nantwich United and White Horse both started the game looking for their first win of the season, and it was White Horse who attained it, with a 1-5 victory.

A Ken Mather hat-trick was backed up by further goals from Henry Wharton and Dan Wade, with Simon Riley netting for the losers.

The Talbot Inn local derby in Nantwich went the way of AFC Talbot, who edged Talbot FC 3-2.

Tom Kelsall (2) and Declan Scott (pen.) scored for AFC, with Yaya Cisse on target for Talbot FC.

Several clubs were in the first round of the Cheshire FA Sunday Cup.

Willaston White Star travelled to Port Sunlight and had a comfortable 0-8 win against Park Royal, who were playing U 18 football last season.

Star were 0-3 up after just 13 minutes and 0-6 up at half time.

Azharul Haque netted three, Daniel Lomas and Tristan Sword both got two and Jason McMullan got one.

Audlem travelled North to Cheadle Heath and were beaten 6-1, while Nantwich Pirates had a walkover against Victoria, who did not fulfil the fixture.

White Lion with two goals from Nathan Cliffe beat Tytherington Juniors 2-1.
