For the past few years Marie Curie South Cheshire Support Group have held a walk in the local area, and this year is no exception!
This year’s walk starts at The Shady Oak, Tiverton at 10.15 am on 10th August and follows a route of 8 miles along quiet lanes, through pleasant farmland, woods and returns via the canal towpath.
The walk is not a Sponsored Event but a collection in aid of Marie Curie will be taken at the end.
Funds raised will help to provide nursing care for people who are terminally ill and suffering from illnesses such as dementia, Motor Neurone disease, Parkinson’s, heart failure, stroke or cancer.
