nantwich pride

Hundreds of people are set to take part in the Nantwich Pride event this weekend.

It is being staged at the Railway Hotel in Nantwich on Saturday (July 13), and is the latest of a number of Pride events supported by Cheshire East Council around the borough.

And plans are already in place to make it a bigger festival in 2020, with parades through the town and more shops being involved.

One of the organisers, Sarah Bibby, said: “Numerous shops have got involved which is great, think we have over 10-15 pictures so far of shop windows at the moment.

“The mayor and Nigel from The Railway have set a competition with the best dressed window which will take place this Friday.

“We have Crewe and Nantwich police and fire officers taking part and will be bringing over the rainbow vehicles. There will be lots of family entertainment.”

“It is set to be a fantastic day.”

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
