Showtime - Crewe Lyceum Theatre, to stage a wedding fayre, and summer events

Strictly fans were in for a treat when Ian Waite and Vincent Simone visited Crewe Lyceum with their new show The Ballroom Boys, writes Claire Faulkner.

The packed audience was treated to a variety show, full of fabulous dances, music and entertainment.

The pair worked brilliantly together. The dance routines were outstanding, and the banter between the two as they told jokes and talked about their strictly days was funny and entertaining.

Ian and Vincent were joined on stage by singer James Lomas and professional dancers Ksenia Zsikhotska and Crystal Main.

All the well know dances were included in the show, but the Argentine Tango was the highlight for me.

There was so much grace and emotion in this dance, I feel lucky to have seen this performance.

Speaking of grace, the comedy ballet routine had us all in hysterics.

As did the audience participation part of the show, when four lucky volunteers got to dress up and perform their own dance routine.

Peter, you rocked as Madonna.

As a dance and musicals fan, I really enjoyed this show.

I think the rest of the audience at The Lyceum did too, as those that weren’t dancing in the aisles gave a standing ovation at the end of the performance.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
