Nantwich Town have announced the triple signing of Joe Davis, Wealth da Silva and Nathan Brown, writes Ryan Batty.
Davis, the centre-back son of legendary former Nantwich and Crewe Alex manager Steve, came through the academy at Port Vale, where he spent 12 years, making 27 first-team appearances.
While at Vale Park, he had a loan spell with Luton Town, before moving to Leicester City on a permanent deal.
While Davis was contracted by the Foxes during their Premier League title success in 2015-16, he was on loan with Fleetwood Town where he joined permanently in January 2016.
After spending one full campaign at Highbury Stadium, he returned to Vale Park where he made another 18 appearances including a loan spell with York City.
da Silva joins the club on dual-registration from Winsford United as a midfielder, after impressing at St Luke’s Barton Stadium.
The 19-year-old Nigerian came through the ranks at Bury and has spent time on trial at Sheffield United.
Brown is a pacy winger who arrives from Marine after a short spell at Rossett Park.
Brown was previously at Chester before his release this season.
He was a product of the Blues’ youth academy and had also spent time on loan at Ramsbottom.
The winger scored on his debut for Marine after coming on as a substitute against South Shields.
