Crewe Lyceum has secured two amazing productions in Agatha Christie classic The Mousetrap and US comedian Reginald D Hunter.

The Mousetrap, the legendary whodunnit from Queen of Crime, Dame Agatha Christie, will be performing from April 1 to 6.

It’s part of a major national tour and stars Gwyneth Strong (Only Fools and Horses) as Mrs Boyle, directed by Gareth Armstrong.

This timeless West End hit has been delighting theatregoers for 67 years with its macabre murder mystery.

The cast also includes David Alcock (Mr Paravicini), Geoff Arnold (Detective Sgt. Trotter), Nick Biadon (Giles Ralston), Lewis Chandler (Christopher Wren), John Griffiths (Major Metcalf), Harriett Hare (Mollie Ralston) and Saskia Vaigncourt-Strallen (Miss Casewell).

Gwyneth Strong is best known for her role in the BBC sitcom Only Fools and Horses in which she starred in the role of Cassandra.

The role gained Gwyneth mainstream recognition and she appeared in the hit comedy show as well as several Christmas specials between 1989 and 2003.

More recently, she joined the cast of EastEnders in the role of Geraldine Clough.

And on June 8, star comedian Reginald D Hunter will in town for one night only as part of a UK tour to celebrate his 20th anniversary on the circuit.

Reginald’s searingly honest material has garnered him a popular fan base that spans the generations.

His appearances on television have included Have I Got News For You, 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown and BBC2 series Reginald D Hunter’s Songs Of The South.

He has become one of the UK Comedy industry’s best-known performers for his distinctive take on subjects including race and sexuality.
