Nantwich Town let a 3-1 lead slip in a dramatic game against fellow promotion chasers Warrington.

The Dabbers looked to have seized control in an enthralling contest on the road at Cantilever Park.

But the Yellows showed why they are also in the mix for promotion by fighting back after the break.

And they snatched an injury time leveller to break Nantwich hearts, as the Dabbers remain in the play-off places.

Nantwich took the lead in the eighth minute through a deliciously curled free-kick by Sean Cooke into the top corner.

They should have made it 2-0 just seven minutes later when Morgan was taken down in the box and the referee awarded a spot-kick.

But this time Cooke was thwarted, as Mcmillan guessed right and clawed it away from the bottom corner.

Warrington levelled on 27 minutes when Mark Roberts was first to a loose ball in the box from a corner and stabbed home.

But nantwich then went back into the lead on 30 minutes after being awarded a second penalty.

This time Danny Glover stepped up and smashed it into the bottom left corner.

Things got even better for the Dabbers just four minutes later when Glover slammed in Morgan’s cross on the volley.

But an action-packed first half was not over there.

Two minutes before the break, Josh Amis rose above the static Nantwich defence to head home a cross.

On-loan Crewe Alex keeper Will Jaaskelainen came to the rescue for the Dabbers after the break, as Warrington pushed hard for a leveller.

Nantwich defended stoutly as corner after corner was swung in to their box.

But just as it looked like they had seen it out, the hosts grabbed a 94th minute equaliser when another corner was swung in and Tony Gray managed to fire home from close range.

Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
