Detectives say four burglaries in the Crewe are linked and need help from public to trace the offenders.
Houses in Walthall Street, Lord Street, Bedford Street and Gresty Terrace were burgled between Sunday January 27 and Tuesday January 29.
Police believe the same two men committed all the burglaries.
A games console and other items were stolen from a property in Walthall Street between 11pm on January 27 and 2am January 28, as was a dark blue Audi A4 which was parked outside the address.
The car was driven along Gresty Terrace at around 2am on January 28 and recovered from there later that morning, at around 11am.
On January 29, the offenders were disturbed after breaking into a house on Lord Street at around 1.20am but still managed to steal a purse, a jacket and other items.
Later that morning, at 1.55am, a black iPhone, a handbag and a purse were stolen from a house in Bedford Street.
The offenders were again disturbed during this burglary and fled in the direction of Gresty Road.
A house in Gresty Terrace was also burgled that morning, between 1.45am and 2.30am. The offenders stole a games console and a purse.
One of the men is described as around 5ft 7in with a slim build. He was wearing a grey hoodie.
The other was wearing dark clothes, including a waterproof jacket with the hood up and tracksuit bottoms.
One was riding a bike and the other was on foot.
Inquiries are ongoing and detectives are urging anyone who believes they may have witnessed something that could help their investigation to come forward.
They also want to speak to anyone who believes they may know who the offenders are or have CCTV or dashcam footage of them.
Detective Constable Lloyd said: “Burglary is a serious offence in which victims are targeted in their own home, which is the place they should be able to feel most safe.
“We believe that the same two males carried out the burglaries in Walthall Street, Lord Street, Bedford Street and Gresty Terrace in Crewe and we are determined to find out who they are and bring them to justice.
“Enquiries are ongoing and I appeal to anyone who was in the areas that the burglaries took place or the stolen car was found and witnessed anything suspicious to get in touch.
“Perhaps you saw the offenders going into or leaving one of the houses, or maybe you saw two males matching their descriptions on the nights the burglaries occurred.
“We also want to speak to anyone who believes they may know the identities of the offenders or have CCTV or dashcam footage of them.”
