Nantwich Library will be hosting a second adult sing-a-long group, Golden Oldies.
It follows a successful first event in December which was packed out.
January’s event will be hosted on Wednesday January 23 from 11.00am – 12.15pm.
This month’s theme will be “Movin and Groovin” and librarians will be singing a selection of dance songs mainly from the fifties and sixties.
“We would like to invite you again to join us for another morning of fun and like last time we will be providing refreshments with a donation of £1.50,” said a spokesman.
“We hope to see some familiar faces and some new ones too on the day.”
The Beam Street venue is also hosting a number of other events this month.
There are Community Coffee Mornings every Friday 9.15am-12pm. Refreshments available at £1.50.
Hosts/themes for January include ‘Save money at your library’, St Luke’s Hospice, and Riding for the disabled
Storytime for adults is on Friday January 25, 12pm-1pm. Refreshments available at £1.50.
Teenage Writers Group is on Monday January 21, from 4pm-4.45pm
Launch of the new ‘Meet on a Monday’ coffee morning 10am-12pm is tomorrow (Monday January 14).
Recycle Junk Craft is an after school event on Thursday January 17, 4-5pm for anyone aged 5 and over.
And Family Storytime will be on Saturday January 26 and every last Saturday of the month. Free, no need to book.
There are Weekly rhymetimes which are free for preschool age, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11am, and Weekly storytimes for pre-school on Fridays at 11am.
