Nantwich Museum is celebrating Christmas with a Sing-a-long Concert of Christmas music led by the Wistaston Singers.

The concert at the Pillory Street venue is free and drop-in between 11am – 12pm on Saturday December 22.

The Museum shop will also be open stocking a range of goods including Christmas cards and other greeting cards, games, toys, souvenirs, craft work including jewellery, books, cheese/chopping boards, jams and chutneys.

New this year are mugs with scenes of Nantwich and Nantwich 2019 calendars.

Among the local interest books is the recently published “Nantwich Pubs” by local authors Andrew Lamberton and Bill Pearson.

There is also a special offer for those wishing to support the museum by becoming a Friend with no subscription renewal required until April 2020.

Membership includes e-mail newsletters, discounts on talks and events, invitations to exclusive Member events and an opportunity to vote at the AGM.

Individual membership costs £20 and Families £30.

Application forms are available from the museum or can be downloaded from the museum website.

As well as permanent displays telling the fascinating story of Nantwich and the surrounding area, visitors can enjoy two temporary exhibitions, the “2018 Nantwich Camera Club Photographic Exhibition” and “Empowerment of Women – a local perspective”, both of which run up to the New Year.

Admission to the museum and exhibitions is free.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
