Elizabethan gardens are the subject of a seminar organised by Nantwich Walled Garden Society in collaboration with Nantwich Museum on Saturday November 10.

There will be four illustrated talks.

Starting at 1.30 pm, Shirley Evans will speak on Elizabethan Garden Design, to be followed by the History of Bees and Beekeeping presented by Fiona Swain.

Sue Clarke will then introduce Herbs and their uses, and the afternoon will conclude with a talk by Graham Dodd about John Gerard, the famous herbalist who was born in Nantwich.

The charge is £7.50 per person including refreshments, the proceeds being shared between the Nantwich Walled Garden Society and the museum.

Tickets are available from the museum.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
