Crewe Athletic missed out on the chance to go top of the Premier Division in the Crewe Regional Sunday League.

They were held to a goalless draw by a battling NHB team.

Crewe Ath remain on same points as leaders Square One who have superior goal difference.

In Division One, The Ark increased their lead at the top with a 3-1 win at Nantwich Pirates.

Dan Jones, Joe Pointon and Callum Parkinson scored for the visitors, while Jamie Brown netted for The Pirates.

Third placed Broadhurst surprisingly lost 1-0 at Brighton Belle, Dalton Parker getting the only goal.

White Lion and Haslington had a 3-3 draw.

Ross Chandler (2) and Jack Wood scored for the home team with Damian Sloan scoring a hat-trick for Haslington.

Kevin Beresford also got a hat-trick for White Horse in their 3-2 win at Audlem, with Ben Spruce and Scott Limbrick scoring for Audlem.

AFC Wickstead moved into second place after a 2-1 win at White Eagles, thanks to goals from Jim Robinson and Dan Croft.

Lukas Synowicz netted for the Polish outfit.

AFC Wickstead have played more games than any other team.

In the President’s Cup, Winsford Over 3 beat Sydney Arms 2-1 with a goal apiece from Dan and Jay Cain. Sean Owen scored for the visitors.

In the Crewe FA Sunday Cup First Round, the big upset saw League leaders Square One go down 3-1 to Salvador.

Josh Wynne scored for Square One with the Salvador goals coming from Jez Tagg, Lee Mellor and Kevin Sharp.

White Lion Ford Lane beat Elworth Park Rangers 2-1 thanks to a late goal from Robert Timmis.

Luke Billington also netted with Jamie Little on target for Elworth.

Wistaston Leopard had a remarkable win over Faddiley (pictured), who lead 3-0 at half time.

They fought back to level it at 3-3 after 90 minutes, and the teams were still deadlocked at 4-4 after extra time.

Rich Ryan (2), Charlie Burden and Jack Turner (pen) scored for Wistaston Leopard.

Wistaston Leopard won the penalty shoot-out 4-3 to go through.

Willaston White Star also progressed with a 6-2 win over Talbot.

Dan Harrison got two, with the other scorers being Dan Williams, Luke Gillan, Macauley Fellows and Dilman Karime.

Danny Jones scored both the Talbot goals. George and Dragon won 7-0 at Sandbach Town.

In the Staffs FA Sunday Challenge Cup, Betley had an excellent 3-1 win over Greenhoughs of Barlaston, who were being spoken of as potential winners.

Simon Roberts (2) and Peter Williams (pen) scored for Betley.
