Square One beat Crewe Athletic 2-0 in a crunch game in the Crewe Regional Sunday League Premier Division.

Goals from Danny Dodd and Lee Mellor earned Square One victory in a battle of two of the fancied teams.

Faddiley took the lead against White Lion Ford Lane but ended up losing 4-1.

Nick Shore put Faddiley in front who then missed a penalty, with Rob Timmis, Charlie Maines, Malcolm Bostock and Chris Hardman scoring for White Lion.

Talbot continue to find difficult in the top flight losing 6-2 to Betley FC, whose goals came from Lee Smith (2), Jamie Baker (2), Chris Robaczek and Paul Ashley.

Gaz Gordon and Liam Whittaker scored for Talbot.

Wistaston Leopard ran riot in the first half against Willaston White Star, going in at half time 5-0.

The second half was more even with Wistaston running out 6-1 winners.

Jamie Collins bagged a hat-trick with Charlie Burden (2) and Jack Gilbert completing the scoring.

Nicj Newman scored the consolation goal for Willaston WS.

Elworth Park made it three wins out of three to stay top of the Division with a 2-1 win over NHB FC.

Lee Saxton and Nermin Arukovic (pen) scored for Elworth Park were reduced to 10 men after 60 minutes with the score at 1-1 but still found a winning goal.

Adam Williams scored for NHB FC.

In Division One, the good news was that White Eagles finally played their first match having waited for international clearance for their Polish-born players.

However there was no fairy tale ending as they went down 3-0 to Sydney Arms with Louis Everall scoring all three goals.

There were plenty of goals in the other games.

AC Wickstead and Nantwich Pirates were level 1-1 at half-time but Pirates added four goals in a remarkable spell after the break before AFC Wickstead pulled back two goals in an exciting half but Nantwich Pirates held on to record their first win of the season.

Sam Cadwallader (2), Jordan Cawley (2) and Wayne Garnett with Dan Croft scored both goals for AFC Wickstead.

Sandbach Town are still looking for their first win after going down 4-3 to Broadhurst FC.

Dave Furber, Matt Timms and Brad Jones scored for Sandbach Town with Liam Billington (2), Dan Griffiths and Shaun Bradley scored for Broadhurst FC to take the points back to Northwich.

There was an eventful game in Winsford where the Ark finished with nine men and Audlem finished with 10 men.

When the dust had settled, The Ark ran out 4-2 winners with goals from Joe Pointon, Dave Garstang, Dean Clarke and Aaron Clarke.

Veteran Kevin Mort scored both goals for Audlem.

White Lion have started the season well with another victory this time over Winsford Over 3 by a 6-3 margin.

Chris Worstencroft scored a hat-trick with other goals from Josh Heath, Will Bailey and Ross Chandler.

Jamie Cain, Owen Birtles and Callum Lovell scored for Winsford Over 3.

White Horse scored a very early goal against Haslington FC who, like last week, came back to win 4-3.

Alex Dale scored two for Haslington FC with other goals coming from Gary Pownall and Damien Sloan.

Ryan Briddon, Adam Smithies and Lewis Williams were on target for White Horse.

In the first round of the Cheshire FA Sunday Cup George & Dragon beat Tarvin Rex 4-3.
