Two choirs teamed up to help raise £300 for the Mayor of Nantwich charities.
The concert involved two community choirs, Simply Allsorts and Simple Harmony, singing together.
Also involved was cappella group Singcopation, and the Band and Drum Corps of the Cheshire Constabulary, conducted by David Woollam.
Nantwich Town Mayor Cllr David Marren was presented with a cheque for £300 by choral director Chris Hale as a result of funds raised at the performance in St Mary’s Church.
Chris said: “The choirs are entirely self-funded so we had to wait for all the bills to come in and be paid so we knew what we’d got left to donate to the Mayor’s charities!
“I’m really pleased we have been able to help.”
Cllr Marren added: “I am really thankful for this donation, because I know what a fantastic effort was put into the concert, not just in organising it but in coming together on the night and everyone singing their hearts out and playing to the full.
“It was a great concert to be at and enjoy and now this. Thank you to Chris and everyone involved.”
