Nantwich Museum will be hosting talks as part of the summer exhibition detailing the history of Welsh Row.

The talks take place tomorrow, Saturday August 11, at 2pm, and will shed further light on the development of this important district of the town.

Entitled “Aspects of Welsh Row”, there are three talks, each presented by a member of the Museum’s Research Group, and designed to offer a unique and detailed insight to accompany and enhance the main exhibition.

Helen Cooke will present “Townsend House and Walled Garden”, Keith Lawrence “Cholera in Welsh Row” and Bill Pearson “Pubs on the Row”.

Cost of entry is £5 (£4 for museum members).

Booking is recommended and tickets can be purchased from the museum.

Entry to the “Welsh Row” exhibition, and the museum, is free.

Visitors can also join guided tours of Welsh Row tomorrow to learn more about the development of this important district of the town.

The tours provide expert guidance on the fascinating history and development of the Row with a personal touch.

Historical guides can also be purchased from the museum for those wishing to make their own excursions.

Tours start from museum at 11am and cost £3 per person.
