Nantwich Town have appointed Lyndon Wain as their new community development manager with immediate effect.
Lyndon is well known at the Weaver Stadium having worked as a volunteer coach for more than 12 years.
He has led a number of Dabbers youth teams to success over that period.
Nantwich Town FC chairman Tony Davison said: “I am delighted Lyndon has accepted this role.
“He is extremely well regarded, not just at our club but across the football community in Cheshire and beyond.
“He is a fantastic coach and mentor and will raise our youth coaching set up to new levels.
“I very much look forward to working with him.”
Lyndon has more than 20 years coaching experience and is qualified to UEFA B level.
He will be tasked with further improving the community activity at Nantwich Town, building on the facilities at the Weaver Stadium and growing youth football with the help of volunteer coaches already in place.
A club spokesman added: “As an FA Charter Standard club, the club is committed to raising both standards and involvement levels and is on the look out for both more youth players and coaches.”
