Talbot and Crewe FC battled to wins to progress in this year’s Crewe Regional Sunday Presidents Cup.

Division One Talbot saw off Premier Division Betley FC 2-0, with goals from Scott Rankin and Brandon Broadhurst.

Premier Division Crewe FC saw off an excellent effort from Division One Elworth Park eventually winning 3-2.

Crewe FC scorers were Lee Mellor and an own goal, Danny Vickers and Lee Saxton scored for Elworth Park.

In the Premier Division, the leaders Square One won 3-0 against Wistaston Ath with Danny Griggs scoring twice and Danny Dodd getting the other goal.

Second placed White Lion FL came up against a weakened Bank Corner team and went goal mad.

Russell Schofield scored 11 times in a 19-0 win.

Vinny Pownall 2, Sam Preston 2, Lewis Clarke, Paul Bowyer, Gaz Tomkinson and Richard Mellor completed the scoring.

NHB FC won 5-3 at Willaston WS with Jamie Ball scoring 2, Alex Ball, Dan Ball and Will Elwood also scoring.

Gary Cardno (2) and Luke Billington scored for Willaston WS.

In Division One, the leaders Nantwich YF won 4-1 against Barrel & Tap with Simon Roberts netting a hat-trick and Mitch Stokes also scoring.

Elliott Reeves scored for Barrel & Tap.

Winsford Over 3 beat White Eagles 8-0 with goals from Calvin Abbott (2), Cam Cunliffe (2), Chris Dandy, Sam Dodd, Kallum Trigg and Callum Lovell.
