A lorry crashed and toppled over on the busy Chester Road out of Nantwich today.

The incident happened just before 9am at the Bluestone traffic lights where the A51 and A534 meet near Reaseheath.

Cheshire Police said officers were called to reports of a collision at the traffic lights and officers found a white DAF truck had come off the carriageway and gone into a hedge.

No injuries were reported.

A spokesman said: “As a result of the collision Chester Road is currently closed northbound between Monks Lane and Cuckoo Lane.

“The road is expected to remain closed for several hours while officers await vehicle recovery at the scene.”

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
