Fire crews battled a house blaze at Doddington near Nantwich for almost six hours.

The incident happened at a property on London Road, Doddington, and began at about 11pm last night (November 28).

Fire crews from Nantwich and Crewe were called out and found a fire in the living room of the property.

Four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.

Crews used a large fan to clear smoke from the property and a thermal imaging camera to check the property.

Crews left the property at 4.40am today (November 29).

It’s not believed anyone was injured in the incident. The cause is being investigated.
