Feel good this Christmas time; give a small amount of your time to help your community.
I am desperately trying to appeal for volunteers to help raise funds for the British Red Cross at a fundraising collection and bag pack event in Nantwich.
We have been kindly allocated a collection at Morrison’s Nantwich on 13th December. We are looking for local people to give just a couple of hours of their time to join our fundraisers to raise vital funds for the Red Cross.
Just a couple of hours of your time can help save the life of someone vulnerable in crisis right here in Cheshire or across the world. The Red Cross is a volunteer-led humanitarian organisation that helps people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are.
The Red Cross responds to emergencies all over the world and offers aid and support to communities affected by natural disasters. Here in the UK the Red Cross provide a variety of health and social care services including care in the home and medical equipment loans. They respond to emergencies, providing practical and emotional support and also provide first aid training and refugee services.
Locally, we loan wheelchairs, reunite families, respond to house fires, floods and terror attacks, support people at home after a hospital stay, help refugees to adapt to a new life in the UK and much more.
If supporters can help at this collection and bag pack, fundraising materials will be provided and we would be very grateful for any support.
Please call 07718 244 547 or you can email [email protected] if you can help in any way.
