Heroes of Heat engineers, Wistaston scout hut

Big-hearted gas engineers teamed up to help bring Wistaston’s Scout hut in from the cold!

Around 20 heating engineers former a group called Heroes of Heat, which installs heating systems for free for charities in need.

And at the weekend, the gas gang turned the heat up to help fit a new system in Wistaston Scout hut, improving its heating and hot water.

Jonathan Hallam, founder of Heroes of Heat, said: “Wistaston Scouts group hut hosts 120 scouts and is vital for youths in the community.

“I invited more than 20 heating engineers from across the country to aid in this project.

“And parents have been invited to ask the plumbers DIY questions!”

Heroes of Heat is backed by sponsors including Viessman, which provides training, and companies like QRL, Buildbase and Spirotec.

“Viessmann attended Wistaston with their training van to train parents and Scouts on plumbing!” added Jonathan.

A spokesman for Wistaston Scouts Group said: “A big thanks to Heroes of Heat and Veissman who came out to help give the hut heating and hot water.”

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
